Praise and Outreach (FLC 2nd Floor)
The Praise and Outreach Class is made of people ranging in the ages from 25 to 60 years, singles and couples. We have various Bible studies throughout the year. Anything and everything as long as it's scriptural. We use the Cokesbury literature to supplement between studies. Our class is also very active in supporting different actives in the church, such as the 4th of July Celebration, VBS and anything else we are asked to do. We support various outreach programs throughout the year such as the Fresh Start Halfway House, Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts for needy families, gloves and toboggans for the homeless and others. We also support each other with prayer, baby showers, bridal parties, fishing parties and anything that is a part of the life of our class. We love to praise and serve the Living Lord!

Nellie Yingling (FLC 1st Floor)
Better known as the “Nellies”, this is a class of older women (55+) some of whom have been members since it was a class for young married couples. Lessons are from the United Methodist literature written by well informed, spirit-led individuals who challenge us in our faith and remind us that God has a sense of humor. We sponsor the M & M’s (Mature Methodists) who plan monthly trips. We are a fun group and very open to have new people join us. We make ministry fun!

Shepherd’s Class(FLC 2nd Floor)
There are many places in the Bible where the Lord likens Himself to a shepherd and His followers to sheep. The relationship of sheep to the shepherd is one of total dependence. Recognizing that the Lord chose this image to illustrate His relationship with His people, the members of The Shepherd’s Class embrace this image and rejoice in our total dependence on Jesus Christ.
The class is a group of men and women of a variety of professions and backgrounds. We are married or single and mostly “middle aged”. Class members participate in a variety of church programs, projects and activities as well as Church Council. We have social activities from time to time and enjoy the fellowship with each other. We study a variety of topics and are led by a rotating team of facilitators. We invite visitors or new members and encourage to visit with us anytime as we follow the Shepherd through study, service, and fellowship.

The Shepherd Class is hosting a lenten bible study based on Max Lucado's book, The Final Week of Jesus. This study will begin February 21st during the sunday school hour. Any and all are invited to attend.
